PAMILY.

a private family planner · made in nz · out now on ios

A small, private
place for the lives
you share.

Pamily is a family planner that runs on your device — no account needed, never any ads. Everything you write — birthdays, school pickups, the shopping list, the note on the fridge — stays on this phone unless you choose to sync, and synced data is end-to-end encrypted.

LOCAL · ON THIS DEVICE

no ads. no data sales. no login.

Your family's content — calendar, tasks, notes, members — never leaves the device. When you delete the app, every byte goes with it.

Anonymous crash reports and screen-view counts are sent to Google Firebase so we can fix bugs and prioritise what to build next. Diagnostics never include your personal content. Turn both off in Settings → Privacy. Full breakdown in the privacy policy.

What's inside.

everything shared with the whole pamily

today reads

Home

Hero card, weekly mood, four bento tiles (next event, top task, next birthday, fridge notes), today's timeline — plus a home-screen widget with today's tasks and the next event.

days

Calendar

Colour-coded week strip, day list, automatic conflict detection across all family members. Recurring events, and a weekly meal plan whose ingredients land on the shopping list.

to·do

Tasks

Bucketed by today / this week / later / done. Assign to a person, mark urgent, set due dates. Chores repeat and rotate through the family, and reminders carry Done & Snooze buttons.

the village

Pamily

Every household member with their own colour, role, avatar and birthday. Quiet Wins each week shows who's been carrying the load.

fridge

Notes

A digital fridge. Pin the important ones, snap photos and PDFs straight onto it — even shared from other apps — and turn any note into a tickable checklist. The shopping list lives here.

extras

Subscriptions & Insights

Track Netflix, school fees, sports clubs. End-of-year rollup of what your family did: events attended, tasks closed, busiest weeks.

Sync, your way.

optional · subscription · end-to-end encrypted

your cloud. your keys.

On the Personal plan the storage backend is your own iCloud or Google Drive — we don't host your data at all. On the Family plan we host it for real-time sharing, but we literally can't read it: everything is end-to-end encrypted on your device with a key that never reaches our servers. Either way, ciphertext only.

The subscription pays for ongoing development, not for cloud storage — that's already yours. Cancel any time in the App Store or Play Store; your data stays readable. No lock-in.

  • Pick iCloud Drive or Google Drive when you turn Sync on.
  • End-to-end AES-GCM encryption — Pamily never sees the contents.
  • One household key, displayed once as a 12-word recovery phrase.
  • One person subscribes to a Family plan; everyone joins free by QR invite, iOS and Android alike.
  • Cancel any time; data stays readable, only new writes pause.

Built for the everyday.

accessibility

Text scaling up to 2.0×, large tap targets everywhere, VoiceOver & TalkBack labels on every control, WCAG-AA contrast, reduce-motion respected on every animation and transition.

adaptive

Phone, tablet, desktop and foldables — the tab bar becomes a navigation rail on bigger screens, and the fridge becomes a multi-column pinboard.

localised

English (NZ-leaning), Filipino, and Spanish. Locale-aware dates, weekday strips and number formats.

backup, on your terms

Export an encrypted backup to iCloud, Google Drive, AirDrop, USB — anywhere you trust. Restore on any device by importing the file.

wipe in one tap

Settings → "Wipe data on this device" clears every member, event, task, note, and saved setting. No undo, no exceptions.

made quietly

Built by one developer in New Zealand. Not venture-funded. Will never sell your data, because there's nothing to sell.
